Fresh Tomato & Basil Pasta

3 medium ripe tomatoes, chopped
1/3 cup thinly sliced fresh basil *
1/4 cup olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. rotini pasta, uncooked
3/4 cup (3 oz.) KRAFT FREE Nonfat Grated Topping

* Or substitute 1 tsp. dried basil leaves for 1/3 cup fresh basil.

Mix tomatoes, basil, oil, garlic, salt and pepper.

Cook rotini as directed on package; drain.

Toss rotini with tomato mixture and grated topping. Serve immediately.

Makes 5 servings

Variation: Tomato & Basil Pasta Salad: Prepare as directed, except rinse pasta with cold water after cooking. Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight. Stir lightly before serving.
