Fried Chicken

Vegetable oil for frying
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon McCormick Paprika
2 teaspoons McCormick Bon Appétit Seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick Season-All Seasoned Salt
1 teaspoon McCormick Ground Black Pepper
1 cup milk
3 frying chickens, cut into 24 pieces

Pour 1/2 inch oil into a skillet or chicken frying pan. Heat oil slowly to 350 F on deep-fry thermometer.

Mix flour, paprika, Bon Appétit, seasoned salt, and pepper in shallow pan or pie plate. Place milk in bowl.

Dip chicken pieces in milk and roll in flour mixture.

Carefully place chicken, several at a time, in hot oil and cook 2-3 minutes per side or until lightly brown. (Do not overcrowd pan.) Reduce heat to 300 F, cover pan and continue frying 10 minutes on each side. Uncover, turn and fry an additional 5 minutes or until done. Remove and drain.

Makes 12 servings, 2 pieces chicken each
