Ham and Cheese Tortilla Bites

These great tasting tortilla bites are a fun and different way of making appetizers.

Prep: 20 min Chill: 3-4 hours

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 tablespoon McCormick® Freeze-Dried Chives
1 tablespoon McCormick® Parsley Flakes
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® California Style Garlic Pepper
1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Dill Weed
1/8 teaspoon McCormick® Thyme Leaves
5 6-inch round flour tortillas
5 slices cooked ham, smoked turkey, or roast beef
3 green onions, green part only

1. In medium bowl, mix cream cheese and butter until well combined and fluffy. Add chives, parsley, garlic pepper, dill, and thyme. Beat well. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or overnight.

2. Remove mixture from refrigerator and let stand until soft enough to spread.

3. Place tortillas on work surface. Set aside 1 tablespoon cheese mixture in small bowl. Spread remaining cheese mixture on tortillas and top with slice of meat.


4. Cut ten 6-inch pieces of scallion and place 2 pieces at 1 edge of each tortilla. Starting at edge of tortillas where scallion is placed, roll tortillas and seal edges of rolls with reserved cheese mixture.

5. Cut each tortilla roll into 3/4-inch slices and arrange on serving dish. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Makes 36 (3/4-inch) slices
