Thousands of Brand Name Recipes
1 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup finely chopped almonds
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Pure Almond Extract
1 2/3 cups flour
Sliced almonds
Cream together butter, sugar and salt. Add chopped almonds, milk, extract and flour. Mix well. Chill.
Shape into small balls. Put on ungreased baking sheet. Press each to 1/3-inch thickness. Put sliced almonds on the center of each.
Bake in 350 F. oven 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes 4 dozen cookies
